"Sachsen-live" joint stand at the Smart City Expo World Congress trade fair from 7th to 9tu November 2023 in Barcelona

The Saxony Trade & Invest Corporation is organizing a joint Saxon stand at the Smart City Expo World Congress (SCEWC) in Barcelona from November 7 to 9, 2023.

The international trade fair and the accompanying Smart City Expo World congress in Barcelona are an excellent platform to present products and services on the topic of future-oriented urban development and to exchange ideas on trends and innovations. The fair brings together experts and leaders from innovative cities, companies, start-ups, research centers and initiatives, especially in the fields of digitalization, IT solutions & software, cyber security, blockchain, communication, start-up platforms, mobility, transport systems, sharing models, energy and environmental technologies, sustainable construction, architecture, spatial planning, administration and project financing.

A total of 850 exhibitors (over 1000 exhibitors in 2019) and more than 20,000 visitors from over 100 countries participated in 2022. A further increase in the number of participants is expected for 2023.

In addition to Saxony, most of the other German states are also participating in the SCEWC with joint stands. In addition, the GTAI – Germany Trade and Invest – is on site and offers all German participants a platform to present themselves, their products and solutions to the trade fair audience. The networking evening “German Night” is another opportunity for exchange.

The range of services includes the entire coordination of the joint appearance – from registration for the trade fair and the organization of the accompanying program to press and public relations work. The infrastructure of the stand (lounge, storage facilities, etc.) is available to all participants.
