Working Group "Biobased Plastics" - The Future of Interiors

Material developments – especially in plastics – are shaping the future of automotive interiors.

The AMZ working group “Biobased Plastics” also dealt with this exciting field of innovation.

26 committed decision-makers from the Saxon plastics industry met at the MERGE research cluster of Chemnitz University of Technology on 22.03.2023. During interesting presentations and discussion rounds, future possibilities were mapped out and ideas and experiences in the use of bio-based plastics were exchanged.

Together we want to establish the competence cluster Saxony as a lighthouse in the processing of bio-based plastics and make an important contribution to climate neutrality.
