Sustainability management for automotive suppliers
Do you have questions about CO2 and sustainability or have you already gained experience that you would like to share with our network? Feel free to contact us: info@amz-sachsen.de
How do you manage the complex requirements of OEMs for sustainability and CO2 footprint?
What are the requirements and how can Saxon automotive suppliers respond to them? How can you make use of state subsidies?
The AMZ-Saxony gives you the answers to these cross-sectional topics and supports you with practicable tools in finding solution providers as well as in exchanging experiences on your way to becoming a CO2-neutral producer.
We observe the market. We know who is a pioneer and who can pass on target group-specific information.
Current topics at a glance:
Circular Economy
Here, the focus is on the circularity of automobiles, because sustainability starts with design and production: By using recycled or recyclable resources.
For example, companies can use scrap from certain processes or repairable components for production. The ultimate goal is to continue using the product for as long as possible.
CO2 Balancing
This is a requirement that raises major questions about implementation for many companies. The AMZ Saxony does not only want to present the theory to the companies, but to provide them with practicable solutions or refer them to the relevant experts.
CSRD / Sustainability Reporting
Due to the CSRD directive, which will soon also apply to numerous SMEs, many SMEs will have to carry out mandatory reporting on sustainability aspects in the company in the near future, parallel to the annual report.
The EU aims to bring more transparency into the sustainability activities of companies and to promote sustainable action. The AMZ Sachsen informs you about the current status and puts you in contact with competent service providers.
Need for further training
New topics and tasks require comprehensive training and further education of your staff. The AMZ Sachsen offers you a comprehensive training program in cooperation with the RKW Sachsen.
Workshop formats are also planned as part of the ITAS project (Initiative Transformation Automobilregion Südwestsachsen).
